Screaming from the top of your lungs that you’re awesome may not be the Kiwi way, but when you’re as good as Cutting Edge, people need to see what you can do.
BRIEF: Create a two minute promotional video to show the range of Cutting Edges work.
PRODUCTION: In this video we did a lot of work travelling around Nelson filming just some of the amazing signs which Cutting Edge have produced. Some were easy to find in a pretty environment (the councils direction signs for walkways and the shops) and others were a challenge to get the right angle to show them off to their best (the sign on top of the Heritage Hotel, the forecourt at the nearby Z petrol station happened to be the best vantage point).
We also had amazing access to the Cutting Edge workshop. If you love tech, precision and fire (check out the video, I’m not joking!) then getting to see all the behind-the-scenes action is awesome. Filming this we wanted to show the unbelievable range of techniques and skills needed to do what they do.
All of this was then brought together with an interview with Arko and there you have it, a brilliant look at who Cutting Edge are, what they do and how they do it.
