Shooting on location for an internal TRAINING video is a great way to utilize the apparatus which you’ll be demonstrating and in MARKETING it’s a brilliant way to showcase yourselves.
TRAINING
Check that all staff or actors are wearing the correct P.P.E. on camera, remember that these videos will be scrutinized. Make sure machinery is clean and up to code. We may not know the ins and outs of the day to day requirements of your specific industry, so just let us know if there’s anything that’ll be on camera which needs sorting before we film it. Feel free to hang out behind the camera monitor during the shoot to check. The worst thing is to spot something after the final edit has been done.
MARKETING
‘Pristine’ is how you’ll want your premises to come across on camera, so give everything a really good clean. Also, make sure that there are no items which you’d prefer not to be on camera, such as: personal photos, client details, sales targets, drinks containers, food packaging, tissue boxes, and rivals products. Also look out for and hide away items with copyright images on them, including: posters, artwork, magazines, newspapers, CD’s and DVD’s. Also ask everyone to wear clothes which have no branding (Armani, Gucci or Hallenstein Bros.) or images (like ‘Guns ‘N’ Roses’, ‘Nine Inch Nails’ and ‘The Wiggles’ t-shirts). And finally, TV’s, sound systems and air-conditioning will need to be turned off where possible to help in the sound recording.
